Two of my Scots ancestors… Hamilton b.1834 and David b.1836 died in the Civil War. They are buried in Brownsville Cemetery, Illinois.
Their parents had emigrated there nr a town called “White”……..(?)and Pueblo(?)
All the rest of the family married and I am trying to contact anyone who may know the family name ie.
MARLIN. I know the name can be changed by this present date, but would be delighted if anyone can
assist me in the search as I am at the other end of the world…Scotland”!
Many thanks – in antiicipation.
I read your info on Daniel. Do you have any information on his daughter Catherine? I am looking for info on my grandmother Catherine “Kate” McArthur, born about 1870ish around the Alpena, Michigan area, maybe the town of Greenbush which no longer exists. She married Auldie Thomas Alexander Edwards on 17 Dec 1897. If you have any information, i would appreciate it. Thanks for your time.
